Killers Of The Flower Moon is directed by Martin Scorsese and the film is based on the non-fiction book written by the American journalist David Grann titled Killers of the Flower Moon. The film tracks the investigation of serial murders that plagued the Osage Nation in the 1920s.
The first look of Leo’s upcoming work was revealed by him on Monday, 10th May. Leonardo DiCaprio plays the role of Ernest Burkhart alongside Lily Gladstone who plays the role of Mollie Burkhart. Leo tweeted a photo of himself and Lily from the sets of Killers Of The Flower Moon.
In the photograph, Leonardo DiCaprio can be seen wearing a grey shirt and brown tie with a purple blazer while Lily is dressed in traditional Osage clothing, wearing a black choker and wrapped in a blanket.
According to the reports, the scene takes place in Grayhorse, Oklahoma. As reported by Deadline, Ernest and Mollie are a married couple and Ernest is a nephew of a local rancher whereas Mollie belongs to an Osage family.
Last week, a few more pictures from the sets and renovation work from Pawhuska related to the film were shared on social media.
The film is produced by Dan Friedkin, Scorsese, and Bradley Thomas. The film is co-produced by Appian Way Production and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Overall, everyone is excited and patiently waiting for the release of Leo’s new film. Just like any other film of Leo, the fans are affirmative that Leo’s ongoing project will be a super hit as well.
