Recently news broke that Priyanka Chopra along with Nick Jonas is set to make a very special appearance at the Global Citizen Price Awards 2020. This year the award ceremony will be hosted by popular singer John Legend according to people.com and famous celebrities like Alessia Cara, Carrie Underwood, Common, Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Lopez, and Tori Kelly will be performing on stage.
The Global Citizen Prize Awards recognizes people working towards ending poverty and brings their work to notice by awarding them. The top prizes that will be given out during the ceremony are Global Citizen of the Year, Global Citizen Prize for World Leader, Global Citizen Prize for Business Leader, Global Citizen Artist of the Year, Cisco Youth Leadership Award, and the Global Citizen Country Hero Award. There is a new addition of awards and accolades this year which includes the Global Citizen Prize for Philanthropy, Global Citizen Prize for Culture & Education, Global Citizen Prize for Activism, and the #My2020Hero social media campaign.
According to reports, the award ceremony will supposedly stream globally from December 19.
