Veteran South Indian filmmaker Puri Jagannadh recruited legendary boxer Mike Tyson, for this Hindi-Telugu action sports drama. The main actor Vijay Deverakonda has appeared in multiple posters showing an aspiring boxer in action. The film features Ananya as his love interest.
Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra
Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, is on track to become a box office success. The movie made an astounding Rs 225 crore in its first weekend of release. Taran Adarsh, a film industry analyst, estimates that the Hindi version of Brahmastra made roughly Rs 108 crore in its first weekend release. He said, “Brahmstra has a FABULOUS weekend… *#Hindi* version… *#Nett* BOC…Day 1: 31.5 cr+, Day 2: 37.5 cr+, Day 3: 39.5 cr+,” along with the box office totals.
The movie still has a long way to go before it can be dubbed a blockbuster, though, given that it cost Rs 400 crore to produce.
Rakul Preet Singh’s Cuttputli
Puppet, also known as Cuttputlli (in Hindi), is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language psychological crime thriller film directed by Ranjit M. Tewari and a remake of the 2018 Tamil film Ratsasan. Akshay Kumar plays the lead role, and Rakul Preet Singh, Joshua LeClair, Chandrachur Singh, and Sargun Mehta also appear.
