Varun Dhawan has captivated millions of admirers across the world with his washboard abs, chiseled arms, and toned legs since his Bollywood debut. He is one of the most physically fit actors and a motivation to everyone trying to stay fit and in shape.

Celebrities may have an army of personal trainers and specialists at their disposal, but they must still work hard to maintain their physical health. To preserve their ideal physique, they adhere to a rigorous eating regimen and work out every day. Varun, 34, recently stated on his Instagram account that he follows a 14 to 16-hour intermittent fasting regimen after a follower inquired about it.

Intermittent fasting is a lifestyle decision rather than a diet trend. Regardless of the fact that it has been around a looooong period, fast has acquired a lot of popularity in the field of health and wellness in recent times. If you practice calorie counting, you must ingest all of your calories in a short amount of time and then fast for the remainder of the time. Instead of eliminating any type of food, this diet focuses on calorie control. All meals and drinks comprising any amount of calories must be avoided when dieting. Water, diluted Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV), and unscented coffee or tea without milk are all acceptable fasting liquids.

Varun revealed on his Instagram account that he fasts for 14 to 16 hours and consumes all of his calories for the day in the remaining 10 to 8 hours. He went on to say that he starts his day with a cup of coffee and consumes egg whites, omelets, or a bowl of oats for breakfast. Later in the day, he eats chicken with veggies for lunch. He consumes makhanas or fox nuts for an afternoon snack. Because they are low in calories and high in protein, these nuts make a wonderful snack. They can keep you satiated for extended periods of time and deter you from snacking on bad foods.

Varun is a typical desi kid at heart, unable to function without ghar ka khaana. He eats excellent food and enjoys modifying it to suit his preferences. In a recent chat, he stated that he enjoys his mother’s cooking. He merely keeps track of his regular calorie consumption. “Always follow your mother’s advice when it comes to food. Other moms may provide milk, roti with ghee, and other foods, although this isn’t always the case.” On a more serious note, Varun recommends limiting carb intake at night. “This is something I’m intrigued about,” he says. He eats a high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet. Protein is required for the body’s muscular growth and repair.

Varun likes to try new things when it comes to his training regimen. The 34-year-old actor swears by the benefits of pilates in addition to bodyweight workouts and strength training. When he has free time, he does martial arts and yoga.
