The year 2020 has been a pathetic year for each and every individual. Although we all know that the biggest reason behind the same is the Covid-19 pandemic which has brought the entire world to a standstill, the sad part is that’s not the only thing. The year 2020 has snatched away from us some of the most exceptionally talented artistes of the entertainment fraternity who enjoyed a multitude of fans and admirers for themselves. Talking about the Hindi film industry itself, Bollywood has lost quite a number of gems already in this year and the prayers are only about ‘May the year not be any worse’. So today, on a rather grief-stricken note, we are here with a list of Bollywood celebrities who passed away in 2020
Sushant Singh Rajput – Sushant Singh Rajput’s death is probably the most tragic of the lot. Sushant hung himself and left us on a rather shocking note. Investigations are on in full swing to probe his death.
Rishi Kapoor – Rishi Kapoor had returned to India only in the beginning of the year in 2020 after his treatment for cancer in the USA. Just when we all thought his life span doubled up, fate played a spoilsport and Rishi Kapoor left all of us after being hospitalized due to severe health conditions.
Irrfan Khan – Another gem of a talent whom we lost this year is Irrfan Khan. Irrfan battled cancer and conquered all odds however fate played a rather rough game with his life. His mother passed away and Irrfan couldn’t even travel to his hometown to attend her last rites to the Covid-19 lockdown. Unable to bear the loss, his own health worsened and immediately within a few days of his mother’s death, Irrfan passed away.
Saroj Khan – Veteran Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan was the most respected ‘Master Ji’ for one and all. However, health-related issues bothered her and she passed away a few days back at the age of 71 due to cardiac arrest.
Wajid Khan – The very dynamic and popular Wajid Khan from the famous Sajid-Wajid duo too breathed his last this year in May. His family especially his brother Sajid is still unable to bear the loss and are mourning the same.
