Generations of young fans have grown up dreaming of becoming their beloved princesses, from Cinderella to Snow White. With the advancement of technology, we’re seeing an increasing number of live-action remakes of these classic stories, as well as a number of subversive film adaptations that stray far from the clichés of the defenseless princess and the white knight.
