Kaabil, a 2017 film marked a grand performance of Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam. The story of a blind couple, where the man is set to take revenge after his lover gets raped and murdered. Yami Gautam, who played the role of the female lead was shown to be dead even before the interval.
Which resulted to Kareena and Parineeti’s rejection, for they didn’t really like how the film actually overshadowed the female lead in the very first half of the film and therefore rejected it, as stated in an article by Koi Moi.
The film was offered to Kareena Kapoor at first, who has already shared the screen with Hrithik Roshan earlier, and was known to be the hottest onscreen couple. However, KKK rejected it and later it was offered to Parineeti, who also rejected the film. Lastly, Yami Gautam came out to be the final choice of the makers.
