Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are one of the most loved and admired couples in the Indian entertainment industry. The two of them fell in love with each other few years back and given the kind of love and attention that they have received in all these years, we can certainly say that they deserve it all for real. The duo have been dating for a long time before eventually tying the knot this year and it has indeed been a pleasure to see them get cosy and romantic in public. A few days back, Ranbir and Alia announced to the world that they are all set to embrace parenthood for the first time together. Ever since then, their respective legion of fans have truly been on a roll to shower their love and support for them.

So, what does Ranbir have to say about Alia Bhatt’s pregnancy and becoming a father for the first time? During an exclusive conversation with IWMBuzz, Ranbir revealed,

“It’s an extremely emotional thing for me. Both Alia and I are in a really happy zone and that’s why, we wanted to share our happiness with the rest of the world. I haven’t seen her for many days as she had been shooting abroad. We have been in touch daily on phone and video calls talking about this and it just makes both of us so happy. She’s finally returning tonight and I am so excited to be seeing her after a long time. We want to make a lot of babies together (Laughs). We love babies and we hope that we can strike a good balance between our respective personal and professional lives. However, one thing is for sure. I will not want her career to take a backseat after motherhood. She’s one of the busiest stars in our industry. There’s a lot of planning that we both have to do about parenthood in terms of dividing responsibilities and other stuff. I am looking forward to meeting her tonight and start doing all of that one by one.”

On the work front, Ranbir is next gearing up for the release of his next ‘Shamshera’ that’s all set to release in cinemas on July 22, 2022. The movie also stars Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in eminent roles. What’s your take on Ranbir’s words ladies and gentlemen?
