Even in its third week, the film is attracting a steady audience, especially in urban centres. While the numbers are not massive, the consistency is a positive sign for a niche Hollywood release.
After a decent first two weeks, Anaconda entered its third week with controlled drops. The film has found its audience mainly among viewers who enjoy survival thrillers and suspense-driven stories. Strong weekend support and steady word of mouth have helped it maintain its pace so far.
Day 18 Box Office Collection
On Day 18 (Monday), Anaconda collected approximately ₹0.80–0.95 crore net at the Indian box office. As expected, there was a drop compared to the weekend figures, but the fall was within a normal range for a weekday in the third week.
Monday collections were driven mainly by multiplex audiences. Metro cities like Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Pune continued to contribute the most. Occupancy during morning shows remained low, which is common on weekdays, but afternoon and evening shows performed reasonably well. Night shows in premium multiplex screens also saw fair attendance.
Single-screen theatres once again reported limited footfall. This was expected, as Anaconda does not cater to mass audiences and performs better in urban markets. Despite this, the film has managed to avoid a sharp weekday crash, which is important at this stage of its run.
Overall Performance So Far
By the end of Week 1, Anaconda had collected around ₹26.40 crore in net proceeds, giving it a solid start. Instead of relying solely on opening-day hype, it has maintained a slow, steady pace, which works well for content-driven films.
For a mid-budget Hollywood survival thriller with limited mass appeal, crossing the ₹35 crore mark in India is a respectable achievement. The film’s ability to sustain itself beyond the initial two weeks highlights its acceptance among its target audience.
