Following this, he received massive backlash from the netizens, and even Tamannaah didn’t react to this publicly. However, in a recent interview, Annu Kapoor himself speaks on this, revealing what made him say that.
In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, when asked about his comment, “Yaar, omg, mashallah, kya ‘Dudhiya Badan’ hai” for Tamannaah Bhatia, Annu addressed the topic, revealing that this isn’t anything, but what happened was that last year there were shows in America where our creative was there, Arunima Mishra, and our two singers Anubhav Suman and Anita Bhatt.
Annu further explained that contestants were good, so he had to give a ‘goggly’, and that time, the same song was trending ‘Aaj Ki Raat’, so he praised the composition, but it was fine, and while discussing the song, he asked to show the visuals, so when he watched, he liked it, and it said that it’s great and made that remark.
He also explained that he didn’t mean that way, while people abused him for that, but also people in English saying “milky body”. With his blunt replies, he said that when things are said in English, it is fine, but when the same thing is said in Hindi, it becomes a problem.
Annu Kapoor also proved, giving examples of certain stances where people ignore what was said in English, but things take a high tone when said in Hindi. He also picked that people use the FU*K word, but when said in Hindi, it becomes a matter.
