The character development for Hashmi in Awarapan 2 shows his transformation from a “serial kisser” character into an adult who needs to handle tough emotional problems. The story depicts an elderly man named Shivam who lives in seclusion and embarks on his final mission which leads to his personal growth that parallels the character development in Logan. The sequel introduces a new viewing experience for contemporary audiences by merging action sequences with emotional storytelling that depicts redemption and emotional development while retaining traditional elements from the first movie.
