Acclaimed Casting Director in TV, web and films, Sohan Thakur will now associate with Shraddha Srivastava to form a new company. Sohan Thakur who operated his company under the banner Sohan Thakur Casting has collaborated with Shraddha to form a new company, Shraddha Sohan Casting which will be in association with Sohan Thakur Casting.
Sohan Thakur who is a renowned name in the casting field in television will work out his web and film projects from the new company now.
Shraddha and Sohan have together worked on TV shows Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti, Yeshu, web-series Runaway Lugaai, film Mannu aur Munni Ki Shaadi and four short films for Wow App. Mannu aur Munni Ki Shaadi stars Shreyas Talpade in the lead role.
Says Sohan, “Sohan Thakur Casting will be associated with TV shows. Shraddha Sohan Casting will deal with the web and film projects. I have been into a working association with Shraddha for three years now. We have worked together for the last three years and it has been a great association.”
“We are getting into more of the web and film work. Hence the new company formation was planned. Shraddha is from a business family, and has a great knack and eye for casting. We have very easily divided our work of looking for good talent. Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and few states will be managed by Shraddha. She will tap the unexplored talent from these places and bring them forward. I will be working with the theater groups across the Nation. Our main motto is to promote good talent in web and cinema. We are working on multiple projects on web and films. Also, another unique way in which we are working is that Shraddha takes care of the female casting while I handle the male casting. Though we will have a combined call when it comes to selecting the artist, we will tap into our individual expertise with respect to casting.”
