As far as unusual combinations go, this one takes the cake and the bakery. Bollywood’s most glamorous screen queen Katrina Kaif is about to be united on screen with Tamil cinema’s resident method-actor Vijay Sethupati who has played everything , from a transgender in Super Deluxe to social activist K R Ramaswamy in Traffic Ramaswamy.
I can’t think of a more unlikely screen combination than this.And yet director Sriram Raghavan, always known to venture into forbidden territory is all set to bring Kaif and Sethupathi together
Confirming the curious casting Raghavan said to me, “It is true, though premature to talk about it as many issues have to be sorted out.”
Sriram Raghavan is also planning a war bio-poc titled Ekkis with Varun Dhawan. Preparation for this project was to start in April 2020. Ekkis has been pushed forward to this year. Sriram needs a specific weather in September-October to shoot in battle locations.Ekkis will have to wait until September 2021.
