The Hollywood horror film Evil Dead Burn recorded a decent opening-day collection at the box office in India. Directed by Sebastian Vanicek, the horror drama collected 3.15 crore net on day 1 (First Friday). And the film stands at 3.74 crore in gross India collection.
The supernatural drama saw impressive collections in South India, which is considered the prime market for Hollywood films. However, given the current pace, the film may wrap up its first week with net collections below 20 crore.
In comparison, the previous film in the franchise collected 10.75 crore over its weekend while grossing nearly 39 crore in its lifetime run. And the stats look similar for this film too, which will be a fair deal for the film.
