Allu Arjun is undoubtedly one of the most loved Pan-India stars. Not just in Tamil and Telugu cinema, but his fandom is across the country. Reports were making headlines suggesting that the actor is planning to shift to Mumbai and set up his residence. Also, it is suggested that, if not permanently, the actor may shift temporarily for the shoot of his upcoming film.
While the rumors were rife, his father, Allu Arvind, rejected these claims, stating it is clear that for Allu Arjun, Hyderabad is his home. In his statement, the filmmaker clarified that these rumors are not true as the actor has no such plans, while he may be traveling from Mumbai to Hyderabad frequently due to the shooting of his upcoming film Raaka.
Allu Arvind’s statement, as reported by Deccan Chronicle, reads, “No. Since his current film is being shot in Mumbai, it may appear that way. But Hyderabad is where Allu’s heart and home are. His children study there, and all his loved ones are based in Hyderabad. Why would he move to Mumbai?”
Presently, Allu Arjun has no plans to shift to Mumbai as he is happy staying in Hyderabad. In contrast, Raaka is the upcoming thriller film starring Allu Arjun for the first time opposite Deepika Padukone, who recently announced her second pregnancy. The film will release in late 2026, reportedly directed by Atlee.
