Hollywood actor Kelsey Grammer, best known for his iconic role in Frasier, has welcomed his eighth child (a baby boy) named Christopher, with wife Kayte Walsh. The couple, who tied the knot in 2011, shared the joyful news while reflecting on the evolving meaning of parenthood in their lives.
Grammer, 70, and Walsh, 45, now share four children together – Faith Evangeline Elisa, Kelsey Gabriel Elias, Audrey, and their newest addition, Christopher. The actor also has four older children from previous relationships.
The couple first met in 2009 when Walsh was working as a flight attendant, and their bond quickly blossomed into a strong and enduring marriage built on love, faith, and family.
Opening up about his parenting journey, Grammer candidly admitted that he hadn’t always been as present as he wanted to be with his older children, but said his approach has evolved over time. “I try to spend as much time as I can with my younger kids,” he shared. “I’ve learned the importance of being there, showing up, and teaching them accountability and responsibility.”
Despite his decades-long success in Hollywood – including multiple Emmy and Golden Globe wins – Grammer emphasized that family remains his greatest priority. His heartfelt reflections on fatherhood have resonated deeply with fans, who continue to send warm wishes to the couple and their newborn son.
