Nana Patekar, the renowned personality in the Bollywood industry, is now embroiled in a new controversy as a new video of him smacking a fan who tried to take a selfie with him on sets of his film has surfaced online. This hasn’t gone down well with many who took to social media to slam the actor.

A viral video shows Nana in a brown blazer and a hat, shooting for his next film Journey, on a street leading to the Dashashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi. It shows that when a boy comes from behind Nana and starts taking a selfie with him, Nana smacks him at the back of his head as soon as he learns what the boy is doing. The crew member standing next to Nana then grabs the boy by the neck and makes him leave the set.

Fans have not liked Nana’s actions and have slammed the actor. A fan reacted to a video, “Normal people make them superstar and they behave like this …. If we don’t watch their film📽️, they will definitely get to know the power of normal people…” Another fan commented, “Very wrong 😑. He is celebrity because of audience – without audience no one will look at any patekar- arrogance arrogance arrogance – he got money and fame from camera and now annoyed with camera 🎥!” While the third user wrote, “They want popularity and once they attained fame this is the way they treat their fans…”
