After earning around ₹3.6 crore on Day 9 (Saturday) and showing strong growth during the second weekend, the film saw a slight drop on Day 11 (Monday). As per early estimates, O Romeo collected around ₹2.4 crore on its eleventh day in India.
The drop in numbers is normal because weekdays usually yield lower collections than weekends. Even with the fall, the film is holding steady and not showing any major box-office crash.
O’ Romeo had finished its first week with nearly ₹33 crore. With the second weekend and Monday collections added, the total box office collection now stands close to ₹42 crore in India. This is a decent total for the film at this stage.
The movie opened well in its first weekend and stayed stable during weekdays. In the second weekend, too, it showed growth, which helped boost the overall numbers. Now, the main focus is on how the film performs during the remaining weekdays.
At present, O’ Romeo is not creating records, but it is performing steadily. If it continues to collect around ₹2 crore per day during the weekdays, it can move closer to the ₹45 crore mark soon.
For now, Shahid Kapoor’s O Romeo is holding its position and maintaining a steady run at the box office. The coming days will decide how strong the second week turns out to be.
