After wrapping up its first week at around ₹33 crore, the film began its second week with a small but positive jump. On Day 8 (Friday), the film earned around ₹2.9 crore in India.
The Day 8 number is slightly higher than Thursday’s ₹2.6 crore. This rise is expected as Friday usually performs better than weekdays like Wednesday and Thursday. Even though the jump isn’t huge, it shows the film is holding its audience.
The first week of O’ Romeo was steady overall. The film opened well over the weekend, with Sunday being the highest day. It then saw the usual drop on Monday but stayed stable during the weekdays. By the end of Day 7, the total stood at nearly ₹33 crore. Now, with Day 8’s collection, the total box office figure has reached around ₹35.9 crore.
The growth on Friday is important because it sets the tone for the second weekend. If the film sees good footfall on Saturday and Sunday, the overall total can see a healthy jump again. Romantic action dramas usually depend on weekend crowds, and this weekend will play a key role in deciding the film’s long run.
At the moment, O’ Romeo may not be breaking records, but it is showing consistency. Staying close to the ₹3 crore mark on Day 8 is a decent sign. The coming days will decide whether Shahid Kapoor’s film can pick up speed or continue at the same steady pace.
