The Bollywood fraternity has come together in an extraordinary show of solidarity for actor-comedian Rajpal Yadav, who surrendered to Tihar Jail authorities on February 6, 2026, in connection with a long-standing ₹9 crore cheque-bounce case.
Radha Yadav, the actor’s wife, expressed deep appreciation for the film industry’s overwhelming support while speaking to news agency PTI. She acknowledged that the collective backing has provided immense strength to the family during their ongoing legal and financial ordeal, thanking everyone who has stepped forward to help.
Radha said, “Everybody has stood by him. The industry has been supportive. A big thank you to everyone who is coming forward to help,” per NDTV.
The established celebrities who have provided direct help include multiple well-known individuals. The superstars Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Varun Dhawan, and the filmmaker David Dhawan have reached out for assistance. Mika Singh, the singer, donated ₹11 lakh to support the cause, while Sonu Sood, the actor, offered Rajpal a role in his upcoming film, along with a signing amount to support his immediate financial needs.
The organisation provides its support through various financial assistance programs. The industry workers received assistance from Gurmeet Choudhary and music composer Rao Inderjit Yadav, who also motivated their colleagues to help. The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) used its official authority to request that all members support the veteran comedian, demonstrating both institutional backing and individual acts of kindness.
Goldie Jain, who works as Rajpal Yadav’s manager, reported that various industry professionals have contacted their team, but they still need to finalise the specific aid details. The Delhi High Court will conduct an essential bail hearing today, on February 12 2026, when the actor’s legal team will request his release from custody.
