Ram Charan suffered a minor injury during the filming of his highly anticipated movie Peddi on March 24 2026. The shooting of a fight scene experienced an accident which happened at a Hyderabad filming location. Initial reports raised concerns about a potential eye injury but Charan’s team was quick to clarify that the actor had only suffered a cut above his eye which required four stitches and that his vision was not affected.
Ram Charan maintained his professional standards even after sustaining the injury. He returned to the set within hours of receiving medical treatment to maintain the filming schedule. Charan decided to continue working despite doctors’ recommendation that he take a two-day break which led fans and colleagues alike to praise his dedication to his work. Family members including his uncle and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan sent heartfelt messages wishing him a swift recovery which underscored the strong support system that protects the actor.
Buchi Babu Sana directed Peddi which tells a sports-based story about a cricket tournament that takes place in a rural village. The film features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead with veteran actors Shiva Rajkumar and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. The film’s music composed by the legendary A. R. Rahman creates additional excitement about the upcoming release. The film Peddi will have its first theatrical screening on April 30 2026.
The action-packed teaser “Kusthi” will premiere on March 27 which is Ram Charan’s birthday so it brings an exciting new development for his fans. The teaser will be released to increase excitement for what is expected to become one of the top Telugu films in this year.
