Actor Ram Charan, who was last seen in Peddi, recently suffered an injury to his hand. The South superstar was earlier in the morning spotted in Coimbatore with his family, including his wife Upasana Kamineni, arriving at a hospital.

What Happened

According to reports, Ram Charan injured his hand during the filming of an action sequence for his upcoming film. For this, the actor underwent surgery for a grade 3 right wrist cartilage tear and bone damage at Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore, as per Hindustan Times reports. Reportedly, the surgery was done by orthopedic surgeon Dr. S. Rajasekaran alongside international hand and wrist specialist Dr. Alejandro Badia from Miami.

Fresh Reports And Recovery

According to the latest reports by NDTV, Ram’s hand surgery went well and he is recovering. The media house’s reports said, “The surgery was super successful. It was a complicated procedure but was managed with precision laparoscopically.”

The reports say the actor is doing well now and is on the road to recovery, and so the actor’s team also said the surgery was successful.

After the incident that injured his hand, Ram was taken into medical consideration, where the doctors suggested surgery for faster recovery and to prevent future issues.
