A major controversy has emerged involving Salman Khan. According to reports, the upcoming film Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy is set to arrive soon. However, ahead of the release, reportedly Salman Khan’s legal team has sent a legal notice to the makers of the film alleging that the film is based on Salman Khan’s high-profile blackbuck poaching case.
After the announcement of the film Kala Hiran, Salman Khan’s team issued a sharp legal response, seeking an immediate halt to its release. Salman’s legal team sent a notice to the film’s makers, demanding the immediate withdrawal of all posters and promotional materials. Not just that, filmmakers have been warned that if they fail to comply with the notice, they will face a full-blown legal battle.
The strong response from Salman’s legal team has landed Kala Hiran on the radar, threatening the planned release of Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy.
In contrast, Jani Firefox Media Private Limited launched the film’s first-ever poster, announcing that the teaser will be released on June 20 amid the controversy. What’s fanning the fire is the poster that features a man resembling Salman Khan- from his physique to the bracelet in his hand and other details.
Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy is directed by Bharat S Shrinate and produced by Amit Jani. The film is reportedly set to release on October 2, 2026.
