Sanya Malhotra started filming her awaited movie “Sundar Poonam.” The actress took to Instagram to share moments from the sets, including behind-the-scenes footage of the muhurat puja ceremony marking the start of film production in Mumbai.
“Sundar Poonam” combines romance and crime elements to present a real-life crime story which shocked the public during the 2025 honeymoon murder case, when an Indore businessman died in Meghalaya after his wedding. The film aims to explore the emotional complexities of this case while revealing its dark elements, including themes of love and betrayal and the search for truth.
The movie features an impressive cast because Pulkit, who previously directed “Bhakshak,” which received critical acclaim, is directing the film. The protagonist shall be led by Sanya Malhotra who acts alongside Aditya Rawal and Aditya Seal who are essential to the plot development.
