Saurabh Shukla needs no introduction. The 63-year-old actor and screenwriter is known for his impactful roles in films like Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Satya, Nayak: The Real Hero, Barfi!, Jolly LLB, PK, and others. The actor who collaborated with Shah Rukh Khan again after Badshah, with the upcoming film King, revealed about Shah Rukh’s work ethic and how he treats his daughter Suhana on the sets of the film.

In a recent interview with podcaster Siddharth Kannan, when asked his opinion on Shah Rukh as a person and as a professional actor, Saurabh revealed he met Shah Rukh during his early days with Badshah and shared he has met him at different stages of his career and now with King. Sharing his thoughts, Saurabh said, “Shah Rukh definitely is a very good businessman, his business sense is very good, otherwise it’s not possible to create the empire he has created and to hold it single-handedly.”

Further Saurabh added, “It’s his power, ofcourse he has his army of people now but he has created thaat army and I’m sure that he has great support from his family, all of that is there but when you meet him, he will never let you feel that he is such a powerful or big person —that is what is the beauty of Shah Rukh Khan and that is what defines Shah Rukh Khan.”

Saurabh explained that people should know that if they talk to him, he will give them his 100 percent attention and make them feel that they’re the most important person. Highlights that he isn’t like he will just talk but gives the space to the other person to communicate as well, and this quality is rare, which is why Shah Rukh is Shah Rukh.

When asked if Saurabh saw a protective father in Shah Rukh on the King sets, the actor confirmed that yes, he did see, but he explained that Shah Rukh was a wise father, not like the one who is overprotective, but just protective. He emphasized that Shah gives his children enough freedom because they also have their voice, and he isn’t like the possessive, protective father. And how Shah treated Suhana, the actor revealed he treated her like a colleague, a co-star, and there were discussions, etc.
