As per the latest reports in India Today, an FIR has been filed against Kollywood actress Meera Mithun for apparently using a casteist slur. The case has been registered under the SC/ST Act. The complaint states that Meera had uploaded a video on August 7th, 2021 where she apparently used derogatory words against Scheduled Caste people. Reports further suggest that they have demanded strong action against the actress.
