Such is the desperation for news these days that even the pandemic is being used to generate media attention.The latest victim of the pandemic panic is Vivaan Shah, Naseeruddin Shah’s younger son who was recently seen in Mira Nair’s A Suitable Boy. It was reported that Vivaan had tested positive for Covid 19.
However when I touched base with Vivaan he denied the news.
“I tested negative for Covid 19. It’s fake news,” Vivaan informed me.
When your father is one of the most formidable actors of the country then you have a lot to worry about. However in the case of young Vivaan Shah whose father happens to be Naseeruddin Shah it is an entirely different scenario.Apparently it is the father who is reluctant to share screen space with son Vivaan.They worked together in Vishal Bhardwaj’s 7 Khoon Maaf . But had no scenes together.
