A disheartening piece of news surfaces: veteran actress Pavala Shyamala, who is also known for her comedy, has passed away. Reportedly, she passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, July 28, 2026, while undergoing treatment at Osmania General Hospital in Hyderabad.
The 75-year-old actress, as per the doctors, suffered a massive heart attack and succumbed to death at around 1:52 am after battling prolonged health-related issues. Pavala was a well-known name in the Telugu industry known for her acting and comedy.
Shyamala began her acting journey in films in 1985 with the film Babai Abbai. In her career spanning more than four decades, she has appeared in over 250 Telugu films. Her powerful supporting roles and perfect comic timing led her to fame. She has been part of films like Allari Ramudu, Manasantha Nuvve, Premalu Velayera, Khadgam, Varsham, Golimaar, Swarna Kamalam and others.
Reportedly, the actress was battling financial and health crises. And after the Telugu industry people discovered her situation, they offered her financial assistance. Big stars like Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun, Dil Raju, Sai Durgha Tej, and Akash Puri helped her. She made headlines recently after being found in a state of distress on the streets after initially facing hospital admission hurdles before being moved to Osmania.
