Akshay Kumar’s new comedy-action film Welcome To The Jungle has kicked off on a disappointing note at the box office despite the huge star cast. Directed by Ahmed Khan, the film was expected to register a much better opening, but it earned only 15.25 crore on its first friday (day 1), failing to live up to expectations.
Ever since the announcement, the film has generated considerable buzz ahead of its release, given its huge cast and franchise value. Yet, the audience response remains mixed, as reflected in its opening-day haul. In our review, the film received only 2.5 stars.
