Ramayana, Indian cinema’s one of the most anticipated films directed by Nitesh Tiwari has yet again became the talk of the town as a couple of clips of actor Yash who will appear in the role of Ravana in the upcoming mythological film where he revealed a big update sharing that he and Ranbir Kapoor aren’t sharing the any scene in the first part of the film.
In the viral interview clip, when asked about his bond with Ranbir on the sets of Ramayana, actor Yash revealed he isn’t sharing screen space with him, the first part saying, “Interesting, we both have never come together on screen in this film. So, because as you all know, it’s a two-part film. So, in the first part, I think we have, as Ravana, I have my own Kingdom, and Rama has his own Kingdom.”
However, Yash highlighted, “But yeah, we have met a couple of times, and he’s such a fabulous actor. I think it is mutual respect that has played out. Chemistry is like when you’re out to do something phenomenal, and it’s as ambitious as Ramayana, all of us have a single agenda—to give it our best to present this story. I think our visions are aligned, so the chemistry’s not even an issue. We are enjoying.”
When asked his approach to play Ravan and what he thinks, Yash explained that Ramayana is a movie that everyone knows since it has been in their roots, culture, and belief system, so as a story, it isn’t something new. But clarifying playing the Ravana, he shared that everyone, from their own point of view, is right, so here the viewing point is the issue.
Talking about Ramayan, Yash shared that this movie isn’t about a good guy or a bad guy, but it’s also about whether you are the greatest of all, good in music, skills, etc., but despite that, your actions and the judgments you make define you, and it’s all Karma.
Yash added that Ravana’s character believes he is right in his own way, and the layers it has made him want to play this part in Ramayana.
