Mannu aur Munni Ki Shaadi the comedy film was recently being shot at Goa and Pushkar. The film featuring Shreyas Talpade and Kanika Tiwari talks about the relationship between parents, children and friends in today’s time. It also talks about the removal of social evils in a comic way.
The main character of Mannu wants to get married, but every time the family edges towards his wedding, something stops it from happening. The film will move with this basic story plot.
We at IWMBuzz.com connected with the film’s Producer Tinku Qureshi, and he speaks about the plot, “Mannu’s wedding is not happening for a reason. The film is all about what he does to get married. The film is a good blend of comedy and family drama.”
The film saw an initial hurdle when it got tough to cast the right actors for the plot. “Yes, we struggled initially. But after bringing in Sohan Thakur to cast for the film, things rolled quickly and we had the finalized cast soon. We have the best of actors with Atul Srivastava and Nilu Kohli playing the parents. Above all, Shreyas Talpade fits into the character so very well.”
On the message that will come out from the film, the Producer states, “It is a roller-coaster comedy film, which comes with a strong message.”
Tinku Qureshi is basically into the transportation business and is from Jharkhand. Mannu aur Munni Ki Shaadi will be his second film. He says, “My idea is to take Jharkhand to a bigger level when it comes to cinema. We have many more projects in hand post this one. We have a good concept in hand with Mannu aur Munni Ki Shaadi, and our star cast is huge. We have huge expectations on the film. With time, we will get into the platform of the web too.”
