Every girl wishes to wear a Sabyasachi Mukherjee design at some time in her life. The renowned designer is popular not only in his own nation but also across the world. From beautifully embroidered outfits and jaw-dropping cuts to rich designs and decorations, he is a master of all. It’s no wonder that he’s the go-to designer for many A-listers, with some even donning his designs on their wedding day (read: Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, and Anushka Sharma).

We deconstruct the designer’s designs that have not only amazed us, but also Bollywood.

1. Katrina Kaif

Katrina looked ethereal in the designer’s work on Diwali. Tanya Ghavri styled the red lehenga ensemble with a dupatta with a beautiful golden border. Her appearance was completed with beautiful straight hair, striking gold jhumkas, and smoky eyes.

2. Deepika Padukone

The Tamasha actress looked elegant in a gold rose Benarasi sari with antique tilla and Zardozi borders. The attire looked great when paired with an Ashrafi Buti Benarasi blouse. Hair in a bun and hefty gold earrings completed the outfit.

3. Tara Sutaria

The star looked stunning in a royal blue strapless gown as she walked the runway for the designer at Kashgar Bazaar in Retrospect, an event organized in conjunction with Christian Louboutin. The gown, which had a basic bodice and an embroidered skirt, was accessorized with a matching belt that featured the designer’s iconic Bengal Tiger pattern. The ensemble was finished with a diamond necklace.

4. Karisma Kapoor

During Diwali festivities, Karisma was also seen wearing the designer’s masterpiece. The maroon blouse with golden sequined stripes complemented the sari, which had golden embroidery on the border.

5. Priyanka Chopra

Polka dots are not something designer often experiments with, but this sari struck out when Priyanka Chopra Jonas wore it during the marketing. The red polka dot sari was paired with a basic full-sleeved shirt. The appearance was completed with neatly arranged hair and stunning jewelry.

6. Sara Ali Khan

The Kedarnath actor looked stunning in this Navratan lehenga, which she paired with a black ‘Aakash-tara’ dupatta and top. The lehenga was made of black tulle and was studded with zardozi, crystals, and pearls, as well as zardozi embroidery.
