Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, an iconic film in the industry was released in 1995 and is still shown in the cinema (Maratha Mandir) in Mumbai, 25 years and counting. Raj and Simran have become the epitome of love just like Romeo and Juliet. It earned 1.6Billion Rupees making it the highest-grossing Bollywood movie in Hindi cinema. It won around 10 Filmfare awards and the National Film Award for best popular film. It is one out of three Hindi movies that made into 1001 movies you must see before you die.

2. When Raj and Simran met for the first time. You must have seen the replica of this scene in daily soaps or other movies. It is one of the iconic scenes in Indian cinema.
3. The palat scene, when Raj tests whether Simran loves him or not. It’s kind of funny but this scene is still performed by many boys when they are afraid to talk to their crush!
4. When Raj meets Simran in Punjab. This is a totally aww moment and you can’t control your sobbing.
5. Jaa Simran Jaa, yet another iconic scene. This is one of the famous dialogues and scenes when Simran’s dad finally agrees to their relationship and lets her go with him. This is surely one of the best parts of the movie.
