The Rockstar actress was last seen in the music video, composed by Maninder Buttar called Mera Rang. With that, the actress was caught up in an interview with ETimes, talking about the experience she earned performing in the song, however, it didn’t just limit her experiences for the music video, but also she opened up on the unreal beauty standards that exist in the industry.

Speaking about receiving compliments, on her fashion quotient, she said, “We are used to getting compliments about our physical appearance and our beauty. But the compliments that matter, are the ones that appreciate a person’s heart and soul. The ones that say you’re a genuine and good human being.”

The actress also further added on Harnaaz Sandhu getting criticised for her weight gain, to which she said, “I don’t care what other people think. People are fickle, they’re sheep, they will follow what others are doing. They change their mind from one minute to another. So I kind of wave it off. Harnaaz is absolutely gorgeous. Her weight gain is perfectly normal. The worst part is these trolls who comment on beauty and celebrity bodies haven’t won a single pageant, they’re probably not even in good shape themselves, but they sit behind their computers and phones and spread negativity. For people like Harnaaz and I, who are in the public eye, we need to brush off this negativity and just look after our self.” As quoted by Hindustan Times.

She concluded, with how her experience with her fans saying, “There was a time it used to feel really strange to have so many people love me and express their admiration and affection, but over the years I’ve grown up to appreciate the fans and what they do for me. There’s a fan in Delhi who has stuck by me from the very beginning, so every time I’m in Delhi I reach out to her and we try to hang out. The great thing about having fans is that one positive comment and one compliment can go a long way in making you feel positive about yourself.” As quoted by ETimes.
