Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise has been the talk of the town over the last few days with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani doing extremely well at the box office. Well, the first version of the film had Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Ameesha Patel playing the central roles.
Well, Vidya Balan who rose to fame in the role of Avni and Manjulika in the first version of Bhool Bhulaiyaa was loved by one and all. However, there were many actresses who had rejected the role when it came to them years back.

Sara Ali Khan: According to ETimes, Sara Ali Khan was also approached by the makers for the lead role in the sequel. However, due to prior commitments, things didn’t work out.
Katrina Kaif: According to ETimes, Katrina was offered the role of Radha, however, she turned it down. Ameesha Patel later replaced her and delivered a memorable performance.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was offered the role of Avni, but she turned it down. Later, the role went to Vidya Balan, who delivered an unforgettable performance as Avni and Manjulika.
