Shah Rukh Khan is considered to be the uncrowned king of Bollywood. His film journey has been very spectacular. When the series of his hit films started in the industry, he had said in response to a question that Amitabh Bachchan may be a great actor but I am a little greater than him. When this statement was mentioned in Rajat Sharma’s show ‘Aapki Adalat’, he had said that the world considers me number one.
Shah Khan had commented on Amitabh on Rajat Sharma’s show. After 22 years, when he returned to the show again, Rajat Sharma reminded him of his statement and asked him, ’22 years ago when you came to ‘Aap Ki Adalat’, and had said that Amitabh can be the greatest but I am a little better than the greatest.
Hearing this, Shahrukh became a little uncomfortable and then said, ‘Do you have that recording now? Otherwise I would refuse. If it was childish, then consider it a child and forgive. But I would tell everyone to have faith in yourself. There is always a little overconfidence in oneself in youth. Now I know that I am not a good actor. So even if I said that, I said it in ignorance.”
Rajat Sharma again asked him, ‘Still do you believe that if anyone is the greatest, then he is Shahrukh Khan?’ In response, Shahrukh Khan said, ‘Ab toh the world believes what should I say.’ Check here!
