Amaal Malik is undoubtedly one of the most talented and popular music composers that we have in India at the moment and his songs certainly manage to touch our souls big time. Some of his most popular and soulful tracks are Bol Do Na Zara, Hua Hai Aaj Pehli Baar, Jab Tak and many more and he’s currently back with a bang with his first-ever pop single ‘Tu Mera Nahi’.
When asked about his journey so far and where he sees himself in the industry today, he said and we quote,
“Well, I started when I was just 23 and not just me, even my brother Armaan has started very young and most importantly, we hace had to do our bit to establish ourselves. Nobody has done it for us. When you come from a music background, the eyeballs are on you but at the end of the day, only the ones who connect with the audience survives. Despite hailing from a music background, I have had to work immensely hard to make a name for myself and it took me almost 5 years for that.”
When asked about his first music video where he’s starring himself, he concluded,
“Well, till now, I didn’t feel like I should star in my own song until now. Armaan had few mantras to share that helped me (Chuckles). I am glad the song is being received well by the audience.”
