Jay Park along with being a successful rapper has explored a wide range of other fields as well. He is a singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, choreographer, entrepreneur and actor. phew!! We almost ran out of breath reading all of his professional titles.
Jay Park started off as a B-Boy and dancer. He is known for his charismatic performances and stage presence. Jay Park is one of the most influential figure in the Korean Hip Hop scene and he has been described as the “scene stalwart” of Korean R&B. Jay Park originally rose to fame as he was the leader of the Korean boy band 2PM. After a year Park left the group and started his own solo career by uploading covers on YouTube, the videos went viral and after that, he went on to drop record-breaking singles, EP’s and albums.
When it comes to being a fan. Jay Park is a big fan of himself in the first place. In February 2020 he tweeted saying that ”There isn’t an artist as Versatile as me…. That’s all” and even though his tweet sounds narcissistic can we really disagree with he said?
In another tweet, Jay Park showed his appreciation for BTS. He praised BTS for being historic and breaking all records. And this in a way inspired him.
