Pranati Rai Prakash is one of the prettiest and talented young names in the entertainment industry. She’s been a popular face in the movies and web industry and her song ‘Tera Muskurana’, which she sang herself, was loved by the audience. Pranati recently worked in a new song titled ‘Gabru’ opposite the young and handsome Bhavin Bhanushali and the song has received more than a million views in a really short span of time. IWMBuzz got in touch with the actress for a fun conversation about the song, her chemistry with Bhavin Bhanushali, future web film with Arjun Rampal & more. Read to know more.

How did the idea of Gabru originate and how did you and Bhavin Bhanushali come on board?

Well, no idea about how Gabru originated. It came to me at the final stage, for shoot. The production house, Saga Music got in touch with me regarding the music video. I liked the song and decided to do it. Bhavin was already a part of it. I met him straight at the shoot.

The song has crossed 1M views in a really short span of time. Your reaction to the wild response to your chemistry with Bhavin Bhanushali?

It’s a great feeling to see such a positive response. I’m really happy. May the love of the audience continue to come and shine for us.

The song is about two strangers falling in love. Have you ever had a crush on someone you met as a stranger in real life?

I don’t take crushes seriously. It’s fun to have a muse but that’s about it. I haven’t tried to grow things. I’m already overwhelmed with my emotions, so I like to keep things light whenever I can.

What about your next web film Penthouse where you will be seen opposite Arjun Rampal. When can we expect that and what makes it different from your previous work?

Mostly, the film will release in this half of the year. I have just started acting… so every time there are new emotions to play with, scenes to perform, relationships to establish etc. Hence, as of now, I get to do something new each time and it’s thrilling! In contrast to Mannphodganj Ki Binny, this is a completely different show and character.

Lastly, how do you think OTT space has helped you establish your niche as a performing artist?

OTT platforms have the best of work going on when it comes to acting. They have very good scripts. Both my web shows Poison and Mannphodganj Ki Binny have done very well. Lockdown has further gathered a greater audience for OTT.
