Sidhu Moosewala’s murder mystery continues to make headlines even in 2026. The latest development in the matter is that the Supreme Court of India has granted bail to the two accused for the murder. On Thursday, the Supreme Court granted bail to Pawan Bishnoi and Jagtar Singh.
During the discussion, a bench of Justice Vikram Nath Nd Justice Sandeep Mehta also granted bail to Sidhu’s neighbour, Jagtar Singh. The reports suggest that Jagtar helped in sharing the data and details about the singer’s residency.
The accused Pawan Bishnoi, who is allegedly a part of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has been accused of providing the details and helping in the execution of the murder of Punjab’s singer Sidhu Moosewala.
The Justice bench granted the bail after hearing the arguments of both sides on Pawan’s involvement, helping to arrange a vehicle used in that crime.
During the hearing in the court today, Pawan’s counsel argued that his client’s involvement in the matter was just that he arranged a vehicle used in the crime. He said, “The allegation against me is that I (Pawan Bishnoi) provided the Bolero, which was used in the crime.”
When the bench said that it would be safe for Bishnoi to stay inside the Jail, “It’s for your own safety that you should remain in jail.”
However, Pawan’s lawyer claimed that his client has no connection with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and said, “Only my title matches. I don’t have any other relation with Lawrence Bishnoi.”
Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead by assailants in May, 2022. And soon after his murder, the reports claimed Lawrence Bishnoi was behind the murder while Goldy Brar claimed responsibility for the murder and stayed in connection with Lawrence Bishnoi.
