Mohammad Rafi was the best thing that has ever happened to the Bollywood music industry. He had a strong command over Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi languages. Not just these languages, he has sung in many vernacular languages and many foreign languages as well. Mohammad Rafi had worked with many notable composers and music directors like Naushad Ali, Shankar Jaikishan, SD Burman, Roshan and many more.

Mohammed Rafi’s voice and style of singing have been proven to be a great mentor and tutor to many singers. Some of the singers who were influenced by Rafi’s technique of singing were Sonu Nigam, Shabbir Kumar, Mahendra Kapoor, Udit Narayan, to name a few.
