SEVENTEEN is a South Korean boy band formed under Pelvic Entertainment. The band comprises thirteen members: S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino. The boys have explained their band name as, “13 members + 3 units + 1 group”. The name represents 13 members who are classified into three differing units who come together and form one single group.
The band debuted on May 26, 2015, with an extended play 17 Carat, which went on to become the longest-charting K-pop album of the year in the US. The album is also the only rookie to appear on the Billboard’s “10 Best K-Pop albums of 2015” list. The band has released 12 Eps and three studio albums.
The boys have always been friendly with each other. In their recent interview one of the boys, Joshua ended up revealing the secrets of his bandmates, Vernon, Hoshi, and Mingyu.
Joshua exposed Vernon’s hobby of collecting shoes. It turns out that Vernon has over one hundred pairs of hoes. His massive shoe collection is taking over his bedroom. Joshua revealed how Hoshi always ends up becoming his roommate whenever they are on a tour. The selection of roommates is random and even then they end up becoming roommates. Joshua exposed Mingyu to how he sleeps a lot and also eats a lot.
