In 1998, Mohit Chauhan made ripples in Indipop music with Silk Route band’s “Dooba Dooba.” Even yet, it took him nine years to achieve mainstream Bollywood hit with ‘Jab We Met.’ Since then, his distinctive ‘dard bhari awaz has appeared in several well-known romantic ballads. He’s become the most in-demand singer today, and the magic is certain to continue in the future years, as he’s working on some intriguing projects.
Tum Se Hi– Mohit Chauhan from the film ‘Jab We Met’ was given the big-ticket song by Pritam. With his alluringly appealing voice, Chauhan elevates this exquisite tune to new heights. This song has a cinematic aspect because of the excellent picturization of Shahid and Kareena.
Jo Bhi Main– A R Rahman allowed Mohit Chauhan to record an entire album, and he took full use of it. In every song, Chauhan nailed it as Ranbir’s voice. This list would be more than half full if I included all of the excellent songs from ‘Rockstar.’ ‘Jo Bhi Main’ is a personal favorite, as it showcases Mohit’s incredible vocal range.
Pee Loon– Mohit contributed vocals to this ever-so-romantic music for ‘Once Upon a Time In Mumbai,’ which transports you to the heart of love. In this brilliant composition, Chauhan soulfully croons the melody while Pritam cleverly blends the class of the melody with the chartbuster melodies.
