The Asia Cup 2022 tournament is all set to begin soon and we are thrilled as usual. As far as the history of the tournament is concerned, the Indian team have more often than not done wonderfully to stamp their dominance on the field. This year as well, we have a lot of expectations from the squad. Although some had created an element of doubt regarding Virat Kohli’s selection for the squad, we have a clear update. The team will be led by Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli has been selected for the squad. Here’s taking a look at the full squad for the tournament –

Notes –
Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel were not available for selection owing to injuries. They are currently undergoing rehab at the NCA in Bengaluru.Three players – Shreyas Iyer, Axar Patel and Deepak Chahar have been named as standbys.

Unfortunately, Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel who have been in red hot form in the past few months will unfortunately miss out on the tournament due to their respective injuries. Shreyas Iyar, Axar Patel and Deepak Chahar have been named as stand-by players for the tournament.
