Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and his fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, have ended their engagement just weeks before their planned wedding in Lake Como, Italy. The couple announced their separation through a joint email to guests, which they sent on March 9 2026, because of intense cheating accusations which had emerged during their three-year relationship.
Ramos ended the engagement after confronting Prescott about his ongoing cheating, according to multiple sources. Ramos believed that Prescott had ongoing relationships with other women throughout their time together, according to reports. The situation escalated during a joint bachelor and bachelorette trip to the Bahamas in March when Ramos discovered that Prescott was using incognito social media accounts to contact multiple women, including former romantic partners.
Ramos’ representative made an initial statement that the decision was mutual, but later Page Six reports described the specific cheating allegations which resulted in the sudden marriage cancellation. The couple had organised an extravagant wedding ceremony for April 10 at the famous Italian venue, which would host hundreds of attendees.

Prescott and Ramos began dating in September 2023, and they became engaged in October 2024. The couple has two daughters: Margaret Jane Rose, born in February 2024, and Aurora Rayne, born in May 2025. The couple ended their romantic relationship, but sources who know them well report that Prescott and Ramos plan to raise their children together, putting their daughter’s needs above all else.
The news marks a sudden and public turn for one of the NFL’s most high-profile couples, whose relationship had long been in the spotlight.
