Rohit Sharma, the star player of the Mumbai Indians, had to leave the field last night during the match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL 2026 match. Rohit pointed out his discomfort in his hamstrings when the score was 57/0 in 5.2 overs, and soon he left the field and did not come back after that.

Mumbai Indians then managed to score 222/5 in 20 overs, and RCB, led by Virat Kohli, eventually won the match by 18 runs. However, according to reports, Rohit Sharma will undergo scans to assess the severity of his hamstring injury, and his availability for the next match against PKB depends on the results.

This has left fans worried, as the team has lost three matches in a row, and with Rohit’s unavailability, it may become even tougher for the team to balance. However, nothing has been discussed officially yet.

But Mumbai Indians’ teammate Sherfane Rutherford said, “I’m not entirely sure yet-perhaps it’s a bit of a hamstring issue-but I can’t say for certain. I was in the dugout, so I don’t have much information on it.”

In contrast, Rohit made 19 off 13 balls while chasing the big target of 241 before getting retired hurt against RCB on Sunday.

We wish Rohit Sharma a speedy recovery and a powerful comeback soon.
