The bio-secure bubble which is also known as bubble or hub city is an arrangement made only for all the sporting events which came out during the pandemic situation of Covid-19. This term follows strict quarantine rules, safety protocols, and many other preventions. The test series of England and West Indies was conducted under the bubble method, Jofra Archer was called off the team as he violated the protocols of Covid-19.
Sri Lankan Cricket suffered the same violation cause as three of the players were suspended included Niroshan Dickwella, Kusal Mendis, and Danushka Gunathilaka. It was the most embarrassing moment for the Sri Lankan team. The Sri Lankan team led by the skipper Kusal Perera suffered yet another loss with the T20 series 3-0.
The footage of Dickwella and Mendis surfaced where both these players were spotted sitting in a public place without any mask protection.
“The players had been told categorically that they were not allowed to go towards Durham’s City Centre, but that is exactly where the trio have admitted to having gone,” according to the officials.
Sri Lanka is already facing a lot with their back-to-back losses which is the moment of shame as the team was something different in the 2010s. However, Sri Lanka seems to have lost their taste in cricket.
