Impressing the audience with his good form on the pitch, Rohit Sharma led the Indian team with an amazing score in the 50-over match today. While the Indian opener and rising star Shubman Gill played a blockbuster knock making a huge sum for a challenging total run chase against New Zealand in the series opener. The Indian team today gave a knock performance against New Zealand in the 1st One Day International of three-match match series at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad City. Shubman scored double a hundred in ODI on Wednesday.

Shubman Gill first broke the record of Indian captain Rohit Sharma, and he became the youngest batter to score a century outside of India. Not just this, Shubman also joined the list of the top three youngest cricketers to score a century overseas in One Day International. In the list, Yuvraj Singh tops with creating a record when he was just 22 years and 41 days old, followed by Virat Kohli, who was just 22 years and 315 days old, and now Shubman Gill at the age of 22 years and 348 days old.

Gill also broke the God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar’s record against Zimbabwe. Sachin Tendulkar created the earlier highest score against Zimbabwe. Sachin scored a massive run of 127 in his first ODI in 1998. Gill broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record during the 15th over of the ODI match when KL Rahul was dismissed. The rising star scored 130 out of 97 balls to Brad Evans.

Shubman Gill also became the fastest Indian batter to complete 1000 runs in One Day International cricket. Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan created this record. Gill achieved this milestone in a few innings. In contrast, it took 24 innings for Virat and Shikhar to achieve this. In comparison, only Fakhar Zaman is ahead of Gill, who scores this in his 18th innings.
