Watching the best fight against the best is always a treat to watch and in the 90 minutes of football, the game only keeps on getting better with each passing minute. Ronaldo received a free gift in the form of a penalty from Barcelona and as usual, he scored the first goal for Juventus in the 13th minute. Barcelona’s game seemed to be a bit off since they failed to create even a single team effort to score a goal. Messi with his natural best seemed good but from all the shots he took against Buffon (Juv Keeper), he rejected every goal for Messi.
Ronaldo received yet another chance to score a penalty in the 52nd minute and he did it with pleasure. All hope seemed lost at that very goal and Ronaldo ended the debate over who is the real GOAT. One of the best moment of the match was that even though the world considers Messi and Ronaldo to be rivals, they both personally consider each other to be very good friends and it was showed by then during the match. They shook hands and wished good luck to each other like any other player and it was a treat to watch.
Even though Messi did not score in this match, his dribbling and tackling were as always a delight and a treat to our eyes. He even humoured Ronaldo with his tackle once and took some excellent shots however they all went in vain. The next question that arises is whether these eternal rivals will meet again or not. There is a possibility that one of them might take retirement from football before they spat against each other again.
