The hardest assignment for bowlers is to be in the main part of the match during the last few overs when the batsmen have the permit to go full scale. They can experiment with the most absurd of creative shots or the good old trudge; anything that will make the ball go into the stands. Regardless of whether the batsman is out in the process barely anybody will berate him. For the bowlers, however, it is an alternate situation. In the overs 41 to 50 in ODIs and last 5 overs in T20s, bowlers face real trouble to bowl as they have to save runs. Bumrah and Starc have been doing the same for India and Australia respectively and they are very good at it.

Bumrah is currently the best death bowler in the world when it comes to T20. His accuracy with new as well as old ball is very accurate and that makes it very difficult for the batsmen to play him. Additionally, he creates an angle with his action that allows the ball to break in through a right-hander’s defence and mixed with his pace variations, he becomes an unplayable bowler.

Mitchell Starc on the other hand is all about full pace yorkers with accuracy. Being a left-hander, he makes the bowl come into a right-hander and with the pace that he has, only a few can withstand his bowling. He is one of the fastest bowlers in the Australian bowling line-up currently. Between Starc and Bumrah, to select who is deadlier, we will have to wait for the Test matches to be over.
